1. Diploma Recognition (Anerkennung)
To work officially as a nurse in Germany, your diploma must be recognized by German authorities. This process is called “Anerkennung” (recognition/equivalence).
Required Documents:
Nursing diploma (notarized and translated into German)
Transcript / Course content (curriculum)
Internship or work experience certificates (if available)
Passport or ID copy

Application form (obtained from the health authority of the relevant federal state)
